Darkroom
Moersch Photochemie All black&white images on these pages are scanned from prints that have been printed in my own darkroom.
As films I mainly use Agfa APX100 (developed in Agfa Rodinal or Moersch MZB), Ilford Delta 400 (developed in Moersch MZB) and Kodax Tri-X (developed in Ilford ID11).
The prints are made exclusively on the variable contrast FB paper 'Sepia VC' manufactured by Moersch Photochemie. Also all paper developers come from Wolfgang Moersch.
My enlarger is a Durst M605 with colour head.

For the color images I use Kodak Portra VC films. They get scanned from the print (35mm) or directly from the negative (medium format) on an Epson 3200 scanner.

Medium Format Cameras
Hasselblad 500 Classic Hasselblad 500 CM Classic
I have been dreaming about owning a Hasselblad since a long time. A dream that came true in November 2003. Since then I am calling a Hasselblad 500 Classic, built in 1993 my own. I am totally in love with this camera and the great Zeiss lenses. It's just plain fun to work with it and the achievable image quality is certainly outstanding.
I am using the following lenses with the Hasselblad:
- Carl Zeiss C-Distagon 4/50mm T* (black)
- Carl Zeiss CF-Planar 2,8/80mm
- Carl Zeiss C-Sonnar 4/150mm T* (black)

Yashica Mat-124G Yashica Mat-124G
My first medium format camera. Twinlens reflex with a 80mm lens. Great camera with which one can achieve excellent image quality!

35mm Cameras
Bessa R Bessa R
Classic rangefinder with Leica srew mount.
I use it with the following lenses:
- Color Skopar 4,0/21mm and
- Color Skopar Classic 2,5/35mm
Minolta XD7 Minolta XD7
Still an excellent camera. Today, it is my main 35mm camera. With the superb manual focus lenses this makes a wonderful system. Used, it can be acquired for an incredibly reasonable price.
Minolta X-700 Minolta X-700
My first camera: I bought it as a teenager. Gets used extensively since it's 'rediscovery' in 2001. Still works flawlessly except for a broken frame counter (a well known and easy to live with problem of this camera) . The following lenses are used with the Minolta cameras:
- MC 2,8/21mm
- MC 3.5/28mm
- MC 1,8/35mm
- MC 1,4/50mm
- MD 3.5/135mm
Canon Canonet GIII QL-17

Canonet GIII QL-17
Compact rangefinder made by Canon. Equipped with an excellent 1,7/40mm lens . My 'always with me' camera when it needs to be quiet or I have to pack light. In my opinion it makes an excellent 'poor man's Leica' ;-), that also can be found used at low prices.

Horizon 202 Horizon 202
Panoramic camera equipped with a rotating fix-focus lens 2,8/28mm. Exposes negatives in the size of 24x58mm on normal 35mm film. A really nice 'toy' that delivers great image quality.

Digital camera
Casio QV-3500EX Casio QV-3500EX
All digital shots on this site have been done with this 3 MPx camera. Since my shift to analog it hardly gets used anmore. ;-)
